Departing from Lake Buchanan in the Central Texas Hill Country, our cruises provide you spectacular seasonal views of Lake Buchanan, the Colorado River, native Texas wildlife, waterfalls, world-class bird watching and wintering Bald Eagles.

We offer a variety of cruises for many occasions: corporate events, team building, weddings, rehearsal dinners, anniversaries, birthdays and more. These cruises are simply incredible, educational, unique and must be experienced!

Book your private charter for 1 hour or up to all day. Build your cruise to include any or all of the following options:

• Food & beverage service – box lunches, full meals, snacks or bring your own aboard.
• Island stop at a sandy beach for beach volleyball, beach combing and when the season permits, tours of Historic Old Blufton. (available when water levels permit)
• Kayak just inside Beaver Creek cove surrounded by scenic ranch lands. Viewings of birds such as Osprey, Blue Herons, White Egrets, Hawks and ducks occur on a regular basis with an occasional sighting of deer and goats.
 Or enjoy a paddle trip expedition to Falls Creek Falls. While there, take pleasure in the coolness of the waterfalls.
• Freedom Flight - Observe the amazing work of Last Chance Forever, seen regularly on "Wild Rescues" an Animal Planet program. Observe closely as they prepare to release a once injured bird of prey back into the wild. (availability based on birds ready to return to the wild)
• Wine Tasting Tours. Choose your wine region from local to international. Our wine enthusiast will guide your taste buds through each flavor as our captain guides the boat along the waters of Lake Buchanan. Wines paired with cheese and fruit plates or full meal options.

Each cruise charter is customized with just the right options to fit your group. Reservations made via Adventure Alliance receive special pricing.

Pricing: We prefer that you sell Vanishing Texas River Cruise as a component to one of your packages. Whatever price we quote you – you are welcome to add your price on top. If your customer knows the price of just the cruise component, please let us know so that we can put that quote in our book. If they call us direct, then we will quote them the same price.

We price each private charter individually based on the components they choose.

Dates / times / # people / component options - determine pricing. Weekdays are generally less expensive than weekends. Our regular scheduled trips are generally 11a-1p, winter Saturday’s are generally 9a – 5p, summer Saturday’s are generally 11a-1p and 6p-8p. If you wish to book an event that would fall on a regular scheduled trip day – call us for pricing and availability.
